Acceptance, appetite, digestion, stool quality, hydration behaviour, skin and coat condition, calmness, breath, energy, chewing behaviour and other outcomes may vary depending on the dog.

Food products

TENDS™ food products should be fed according to the feeding guide, product label and any transition guidance provided.

Feeding amounts are guidance only and may need to be adjusted depending on your dog’s age, weight, body condition, activity level, metabolism, neuter status, health status and overall routine.

When introducing a new food, transition gradually unless advised otherwise by a veterinarian.

If your dog experiences persistent vomiting, diarrhoea, refusal to eat, itching, swelling, breathing difficulty, severe lethargy or any other concerning reaction, stop using the product and seek veterinary advice.

Hydration products

TENDS™ hydration products are complementary products intended to be used according to the product label and serving instructions.

They are not a substitute for fresh drinking water.

Fresh, clean drinking water should always be available.

Do not exceed the recommended serving guidance unless advised by a veterinarian.

Hydration products may not be suitable for every dog, especially dogs with kidney disease, heart disease, urinary conditions, electrolyte restrictions, fluid restrictions, chronic illness, or dogs under veterinary supervision.

Consult a veterinarian before use if your dog has a medical condition, is on medication, or has been advised to follow a restricted diet.\

Treats and reward products

TENDS™ treats and reward products are complementary products and should be fed responsibly as part of the dog’s overall daily intake.

Treats should not replace a complete and balanced diet unless expressly stated. Always supervise your dog when feeding treats. Choose treats and serving sizes appropriate to your dog’s size, chewing behaviour and eating style. Do not feed a product if it appears damaged, spoiled, contaminated, unusually changed in smell, texture or appearance, or past its best-before date.

Topical care products

TENDS™ topical care products are intended for external use only unless the product label states otherwise.

Use only as directed.

Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, deep wounds, broken skin, infected areas or irritated skin unless the product is specifically intended for that use and your veterinarian has advised it is appropriate.

Although products may be described as lick-safe where applicable, they are not intended to be eaten as food.

Stop use and seek veterinary advice if irritation, redness, swelling, excessive licking, discomfort or any other concerning reaction occurs.

Keep topical products out of reach of children and pets when not in use.

Allergies and sensitivities

Customers are responsible for checking ingredients before use, especially where a dog has known or suspected allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions. A product being plant-based, gentle, natural, small-breed focused, fragrance-free or designed for daily use does not mean it will be suitable for every dog. If you are unsure whether a product is suitable, consult a veterinarian before use.

Storage and handling

Products must be stored and handled according to the instructions on the label or packaging.

Storage conditions can affect product quality, safety, texture, smell, freshness, palatability and performance.

Do not use products that appear damaged, contaminated, spoiled, incorrectly sealed, unusually changed, or past their best-before date.

Once opened, products should be used within the recommended period where stated and kept sealed or closed as directed.
